Our Lafken project, named from the Mapudungun word meaning ocean, honours our client’s cultural heritage while capturing the essence of modern coastal living.
This custom home renovation reimagines the home for both comfort and longevity. Working in collaboration with the building designer, the focus was on transforming internal spaces with open-plan living, refreshing windows and doors to maximise natural light, and upgrading both bathrooms and the laundry. A built-in study nook, new timber flooring, and soft neutral finishes tie the interiors together, creating a relaxed yet refined atmosphere.
Externally, the renovation delivers major construction upgrades including a new roof, insulation, garage repairs, façade treatments, and exterior painting. Outdoor features such as a sauna pergola, custom built BBQ area, and new paving extend the home’s functionality, while stormwater drainage and service relocations ensure long-term performance.
